The\u00a0Almighty Lord Shree Swaminarayan<\/a>\u00a0manifested upon the Earth in the 18th century CE and brought with Him, a magnificent array of sublime teachings, which were based on morality, respect, living a life of decency and honour, and the performing of charitable and benevolent acts.<\/p>\n

Lord Swaminarayan established the Swaminarayan Faith and inspired thousands of people from all creeds and classes to become devout disciples.<\/p>\n

By manifesting as\u00a0Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree<\/a>, Lord Swaminarayan elucidated His magnificent\u00a0philosophy<\/a>. These tenets form the foundations of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan.<\/p>\n

Lord Shree Swaminarayan\u2019s teachings have been kept alive through His divine heritage of spiritual successors, starting from\u00a0Shree Gopalanand Swamibapa<\/a>, whom the Lord Himself established as His spiritual heir and leader of His divine Faith. In this heritage then came\u00a0Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa<\/a>,\u00a0Shree Ishwarcharandasji Swamibapa<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa<\/a>; and\u00a0in 1979, Adya Acharya Pravar Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa gave responsibility of the Faith to,\u00a0Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj<\/a>.\u00a0His spiritual heir is\u00a0Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj<\/a>\u00a0who currently personifies the divine, spiritual heritage of supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan.\u00a0These are the Acharyas, the sovereigns of Lord Shree Swaminarayan\u2019s divine office,\u00a0Shree Swaminarayan Gadi<\/a>, which is the eternal throne upon which the forever presides in His celestial abode, Akshardham.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa took responsibility of the Faith in 1942 CE and established Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Maninagar, Ahmedabad, India as the headquarters of the Swaminarayan Gadi Faith.\u00a0By the mercy of the Lord, and with the inspiration of His Divine Holiness Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and currently His Divine Holiness Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan continues to flourish remarkably throughout the world.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the teachings of Lord Swaminarayan, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan performs numerous activities for the welfare of humanity.
